Pleasure Point Church is a Jesus church with a mission of personal and regional revival through His manifest presence.
We believe that personal revival and Kingdom impact is what you were made for. Jesus is not here physically anymore but He has sent his Spirit to be with us (1 John 2:27), to teach us all we need to know (John 14:26), and to release us with an anointing to impact the world we live in (1 John 2:20). This partnership with the Holy Spirit is imperative if we are to see God’s kingdom in this world. Revival in our respective areas of ministry (work, school, church building, or in the home) happen when we are in the Word of God and are inviting the Holy Spirit to move however He desires.
What We Believe
We believe in a triune God: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We believe that Jesus is God. He was born to a virgin, lived a life that perfectly imaged His father in heaven, died on the cross and resurrected on the third day. We believe that in order to live holy and fruitful lives that God, we need to receive salvation through the atoning sacrifice of Jesus, be baptized in water and be filled with the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit enables us to produce spiritual fruit and access spiritual gifts. To download the full doctrinal survey, click here.
Acts 2:42 says,
“They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.”
John 13:34-35 says,
“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”
This model and strategy of ministry is simple. We spend time together. We eat food and laugh together and find ways to love one another practically. We talk about Jesus, family, relationships and how good the waves were yesterday. We pray for each other when things are not going the way we would have hoped – and celebrate the good times that we have together.
We believe that following Jesus means loving the people He has put in our lives. This is not always easy, but it is straight forward and simple enough to understand.
We also gather together on Sunday to celebrate Jesus’ life, fellowship, eat food, pray and come expecting God to do something powerful.
